Refund Policy
At TechIC Institute of Technology, we strive to provide quality education and services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we offer refunds for courses, tuition fees, and other related services. By enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to be bound by this policy.
1. Tuition Fees

Full Refund (Prior to Course Start): If a student requests a refund before the start date of the course, a full refund of the tuition fees will be provided, minus any administrative fees (if applicable). The administrative fee, if charged, will be disclosed at the time of registration.

Partial Refund (After Course Start): If a student requests a refund after the course has started, the following refund schedule will apply:
- Within 2 days of course commencement: 80% of tuition fees will be refunded.
- After 5 days from the course commencement: No refund will be issued.

No Refund (After Completion): No refunds will be issued once the course has been completed or the student has attended more than 50% of the total course hours.
2. Online and Remote Learning Courses
- For online or remote learning courses, a refund may be requested within 1 days of the course start date if the student is not satisfied with the course content, provided they have not accessed more than 80% of the course material. If the student has completed any assignments or received grades for course modules, no refund will be issued.
3. Workshop and Short-Term Program Fees
- Full Refund (Prior to Start): If a student cancels their participation in a workshop or short-term program more than 1 days before the event, a full refund will be issued, minus any applicable processing or administrative fees.
- Partial Refund (After Start): Refund requests made after the event or program begins will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Generally, no refunds will be issued for workshops or short-term programs once they have started.
4. Application and Registration Fees
- Application and registration fees are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or cancellation of enrollment.
5. Special Circumstances for Refunds
- Medical Reasons: In the case of medical emergencies or health-related issues, students may be eligible for a refund, provided that they submit medical documentation and request the refund within 7 days of the course start date.
- Extenuating Circumstances: Students who face extenuating circumstances such as family emergencies or unforeseen events may be eligible for a refund or deferral. Each case will be considered individually, and the outcome will depend on the specific circumstances.
6. Refund Process
- To request a refund, students must submit a written request to the [Institute's Refund Department/Email Address] along with any necessary supporting documents (e.g., proof of medical condition, etc.).
- All refund requests will be processed within 15 business days from receipt of the request.
- Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment as the original transaction. If the original payment was made by credit card, the refund will be credited to the same card.
7. Non-Refundable Fees
- The following fees are non-refundable:
- Late payment fees.
- Fees for materials, textbooks, or other resources that are not returned.
- Fees for services such as tutoring, exam proctoring, or other optional services.
8. Changes to the Course/Program
- Institute-Cancelled Courses: If the institute cancels a course or program before it begins, students will receive a full refund, including any applicable registration or administrative fees.
- Institute-Rescheduled Courses: If a course or program is rescheduled, students will have the option to either accept the new schedule or request a refund.
- Instructor Substitution: In the event of an instructor substitution, no refunds will be issued.
9. Refunds for Payment Plans
- If a student is enrolled in a payment plan and cancels or withdraws from the course, refunds will be calculated based on the terms outlined in this policy. Refunds will be processed for any payments made in advance, minus any applicable non-refundable fees.
10. Refunds for International Students
- International students are subject to the same refund policy; however, additional charges such as visa fees or travel-related expenses are not refundable. It is strongly recommended that international students check the visa and travel arrangements before enrolling.
